Playing with Quantum
What will tomorrow’s quantum-powered culture sector look like, and how do we get there?
Hear from the insiders driving innovation in the sector and consider the challenges and potentials that quantum ideas and emerging quantum technologies hold for our cultural landscape.
Featuring creatives specialising in gaming, music and the visual arts, conversation will explore questions of access, translation between disciplines, and how artists can meaningfully shape the direction of these tools.
INVESTING IN QUANTUM SENSING TECHNOLOGIES
Quantum technologies will deliver unprecedented computational power, ultra-secure communications and highly precise sensing, driving innovation across industries like finance, healthcare, manufacturing, and defence.
This potential has generated significant excitement, leading to heightened expectations and investments. But how do you differentiate hype from reality?
Quantum Computing Futures: Bridging Research and Industry
Quantum computing technology is entering a decade of rapid growth. The most significant advances will come from strong partnerships across academia, industry, and government.
A one-day showcase at King’s College London, delivered by King's Quantum and the London Quantum Cluster connecting researchers, industry, and policy leaders to foster new collaborations in the UK quantum computing ecosystem. This high-energy event features talks, demos, workshops, and networking to promote knowledge exchange and partnership building.
Quantum Lens: XR Experience (& THE MAKING OF)
Experience the unseeable through an immersive Mixed Reality artwork exploring quantum technologies.
As part of the Quantum Season and sponsored by London Quantum Cluster, Science Gallery London will host ‘Quantum Lens’ by Studio Above&Below for four days. Presented in three chapters (Quantum Entanglement, Quantum Probability and Quantum Tunnelling), the artwork explores quantum occurrences that cannot be witnessed with the naked eye. Using Mixed Reality as a symbolic lens, ‘Quantum Lens’ aims to open a window to the unseen.
QUANTUM HEALTHCARE SUMMIT
The Quantum Healthcare Summit provided a deep dive into how quantum technologies are transforming healthcare, especially oncology.
Delivered in partnership with Institute of Physics, it brought together clinicians, innovators, regulators, funders and NHS decision-makers to explore on one big question:
How can quantum technologies meaningfully improve patient outcomes - especially in oncology?
QUANTUM FOR SPACE PROGRAMME WORKSHOP
UCL and The Knowledge Quarter hosted the LQC’s first Quantum and Space Technology workshop at the Impact Hub in Euston. Bringing together industry experts and researchers from UCL, Imperial, and King’s College London, the event is part of a wider programme of activities delivered by the LQC with the support of the Mayor of London.
UK NATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES SHOWCASE 2025
London Quantum Cluster exhibited at the UK National Quantum Technologies Showcase, the biggest quantum event in the UK, as part of the International Year of Quantum. The event welcomed over 110 exhibitors and more than 3000 attendees, showcasing technologies that spanned quantum hardware, software, infrastructure, communications, sensing and imaging applications.
DEPARTMENT FOR BUSINESS & TRADE NETWORKING LUNCH
The London Quantum Cluster, in collaboration with the Department for Business and Trade, invited delegates from across Europe and the Asia-Pacific region for a networking session focused on unlocking the full potential of quantum.
